Africa
is a land of legends, a place for people with adventure in their
hearts and romance in their souls. One name that is synonymous with
Africa is the Baron Bror von Blixen-Finecke. Encapsulated for all
time in the book and film “Out of Africa”, he was the
husband of the author Karen Blixen. Today, as a director of the company,
the present Baron von Blixen-Finecke continues the legend and maintains
his family's historic links with Africa. Designing a safari is like preparing a great feast. The recipe must take into account your likes and dislikes, previous holiday experiences, your concerns and your dreams. An in-depth knowledge of the best of African lodges and hotels is vital if one is to get the recipe right - and you will see from my personal notes on each establishment featured on this website, that I have the necessary knowledge to serve up a safari to remember. |
